Geaux Local is a novel concept whereby a network of local business owners cooperatively cross-promote with each other utilizing a word of mouth advertising campaign, viral internet marketing and group advertising efforts. Our network of merchants is growing and includes service-oriented businesses, retailers, charity organizations and local consumers. The beauty of Geaux Local is that we offer a completely free opportunity for any local business owner for an entire year to prove to our merchants that we’re making a valuable difference. Our goal is to prompt local consumers to begin to conscientiously choose to patronize locally-owned businesses over other businesses when and where possible.
